Deyanov Dental Practice Policies

Cancelling Appointments
Wherever possible, Deyanov Dental requires 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend an appointment. This allows us time to give that appointment to someone else. However, we understand that weather can be a contributing factor, and would always be understanding if this were the cause of cancelling at short notice. Similarly, illness cannot be predicted. However, if short notice cancellations are frequent, you may be charged £15 for every 15 minutes allotted to you.

Failing an Appointment
Failing an appointment causes disruption to the practice and will incur a charge of £15 for every 15 minutes allotted to you. The dentist has the discretion to waive the charge, depending on the circumstances.

Changes by Us
In accordance with the General Dental Council regulations, Deyanov Dental is not permitted to discuss any aspect of a patients treatment, including appointment times, changes or reminders with a third party.
Please nominate below and authorise any third parties that you would be happy to act on your behalf in these instances.

Paying for Treatment
You will be expected to pay for treatment on the day that it is carried out. If you are undergoing a course of treatment, you will be required to pay for the work carried out at first appointment in full. If you are having dentures, crown or bridgework carried out, third party involvement dental lab fees you will be expected to pay in full after first appointment.
We will not offer further appointments until previous treatments are paid for in full.

Previous Dental Treatment
Deyanov Dental is not responsible for failed treatments carried out by a previous provider. In these instances you will be referred back to the clinician or practice responsible. In addition, any work completed by Dr. Deyanov whilst working at a previous practice, will be assessed and treated at his discretion.

International payments
We accept International credit and debit card payments, a 10 percent usage charge will apply on each transaction. alternatively, cash payments of USD or EURO equally to the amount of Pound sterling.

Deyanov Dental Plan Terms and Conditions

Definitions
Deyanov Dental Plan is the service provided by your Dentist for which you pay a regular monthly fee.
The practice means Deyanov Dental. Your Dentist means Dr Nick Deyanov, who is defined by his initials or name.
The contract consists of the offer in the Deyanov Dental Plan brochure, the signed registration form overleaf and these terms and conditions.

Treatment to which you are entitled
The contract entitles you to receive dental care as agreed between you and your dentist and may be outlined in the Deyanov Dental Plan brochure, or, in the case of a treatment plan, such treatment as shall be agreed between you and your dentist.

Treatment to which you are not entitled
The contract does not entitle you to:
Treatment over and above that specified in the Deyanov Dental Plan brochure

Treatment by another practitioner
The contract is with your dentist alone. If your dentist arranges for an associate or locum to provide treatment on his or her behalf during a temporary absence, this will be covered by the contract.

Prescriptions and laboratory charges
The Deyanov Dental Plan monthly fee does not cover pharmaceutical prescription costs or laboratory charges, which must be paid for in addition, unless otherwise agreed by your dentist before the commencement of the contract.

Your responsibilities
You must attend any appointments made with your dentist and pay any ‘missed appointment’ or ‘short notice cancellation’ fees reasonably imposed. 24 hours’ notice is required for cancelling an appointment. However, you will not be charged for appointments cancelled due to adverse weather conditions or illness.
You must attend your dentist for regular examinations, take responsibility for maintaining your dental health and promptly advise your dentist of any injury, problem or other material matter that affects your dental health.

Payment
Unless your dentist makes alternative arrangements you must pay the joining fee and ongoing monthly fee by direct debit to Deyanov Dental Plan. Any other amounts due to your dentist, not covered by the contract, are payable direct to your dentist. The payments above £200 must be complicate by bank transfer, check or cash. The full amount of the agreed price must be paid if full after the initial treatment begun . Your liability to pay the monthly fee continues until the contract is ended in accordance with these conditions. No refund of fees will be allowed except in the case of an administrative error.

Alterations to your Direct Debit or monthly fee
Your dentist may alter the monthly fee. If this occurs, any change to the date, amount and/or frequency of your Direct Debit collection will be notified to you at least 10 working days in advance.

Terminating your contract
You or your dentist may end the contract by giving not less than one month’s written notice to the other party and Deyanov dental Plan. All obligations must be fulfilled on termination

Non-Payment of Fees due
If the fee remains outstanding one month after it is due, your dentist may terminate the contract immediately by giving you notice to that effect. You will still be liable for all sums due to your dentist.

Alteration of the conditions
These conditions may be varied by your dentist from time to time, and you will be given one month’s written notice by your dentist. If, having been notified of the amendments, you do not wish to continue the contract, you may end it in accordance with condition above. If you do not do this, you will be deemed to have accepted the variation.

Governing Law
The contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Scotland and the parties agree to prorogate the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

Payment Policy

This policy must be adhered to at all times to ensure efficient management of the practice and to ensure fairness to all our patients.

• It is our practice policy to give patients full information about the cost of their dental work before any treatment is undertaken. A detailed list of our private fees is always in our Waiting Room. However, your dentist will also be very willing to discuss all matters of charging and payments with you at any point of your treatment.

• A written estimate and treatment plan will be provided as requested or when the dentist feels it necessary e.g. in courses of treatment other than for routine preventative care (examinations and hygienist appointments).

• We offer patients a range of payment options, depending on their needs.

• You may pay for your dental care by cheque, cash, or credit/debit card.

• For payments existing £200 only seriated funds cheque or bank transfer is excepted

• All patients are asked to pay for examinations or treatment as it has been completed. If patients have concerns regarding payment, we encourage this to be discussed at the earliest possible time to avoid problems.

• If suitable, we can offer patients the chance to join Deyanov Dental Plan which is one payment of £250 for 12 months

• Patients requiring outside laboratory work as part of their treatment are asked to pay a deposit prior to the commencement of treatment and the balance on completion of the laboratory work.Scotland and the parties agree to prorogate the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

In the first instance, you will not be charged the above fee, but persistent failures will be charged, and may result in you being denied an appointment until payment is received, and you may be asked to pay for subsequent treatment in advance.

    Please be aware that any same day emergency appointments you make you will be charged at £75 for the appointment (treatment cost not inclusive)

    Any out of hours emergency appointments you make will be charged at £125 for the appointment (treatment cost not inclusive)

    Payments for any emergency appointment slots will be required at the time of booking which can be paid over the phone

    Any treatment required can be paid by your preference of payment method at the end of your appointment
